Who Are We ?
The Togolese Diaspora Association for the Emergence of Entrepreneurship in Togo (ADTEET) is a non-profit organization which activities are solemnly toward agribusiness and entrepreneurship. It core principle is to study each community and to have a better understanding of their needs and talents in order to develop better strategies to create sustainable opportunities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower communities to rise out of the shadows of poverty through various activities around them such as community agribusiness and entrepreneurship oriented.
Our Vision
We believe our communities have the power of know-how and want to create real opportunities in agribusiness if one can bring them the support they need and an adequate training required.
Our Goal
ADTEET aims to encourage and strengthen the capacity of agro-food mass production based on population size and the community cultural nutrition preferences. With this in mind, we create a national database and gather these information for analysis and projection through our systems in order to provide sustainable development policies.
Our Strategy
In a country where the surge in basic necessities is becoming increasingly unaffordable for a population living on less than two dollars a day ($2 / day), it is imperative to create programs and structures that can stabilize these prices. . Each year the state invests heavily in almost all socio-economic sectors in order to reduce poverty. The fault is to know that every day, millions of young people and adults are no longer interested in sectors such as agriculture, animal husbandry, fish farming; however, these sectors are the real carriers of processing industries, distribution companies and to name a few. ADTEET works to meet this national challenge in the education and training of young people to embrace these activities.
ADTEET's development strategy focuses on the mass production of agri-food products with the adaptation of the data analysis and adjustment computer tool. To achieve this, ADTEET opts to:
- strengthen the link between farmers-manufacturers-retailers and the population;
- Create a database to analyze production size versus demand;
- Improve existing storage and transport mechanisms;
- Develop a better product distribution line and system across the country;
- Improve irrigation by introducing drilling techniques supported by solar energy.
