Agriculture & Agribusiness

The country has vast expanses of arable land and has few topographical constraints. From the analyzes the country does not seem to have any obstacles to the development of the motorization of agriculture. Despite this, the contribution of the state and those of multilateral organizations to agricultural policy for food autonomy in the country is slow to emerge. ADTEET will introduce new approaches on how to improve production based on the population density and area of high demands.

Livestock & Poultry

Livestock farming in Togo is growing and benefits from better ruminant farming techniques as well as poultry. The effort provided through various projects in the country does not make it possible to cover the demands for animal needs and to contribute to a better nutritional balance of the populations. ADTEET wants to rise to the challenge by adding to the efforts already existing for food growth and which fail to make this sector profitable to breeders.

Fish Farming

Access to the sea and the existence of several rivers are an opportunity for Togolese fishermen. According to public statistics, this sector plays an important economic role in the country. It employs nearly twenty-two thousand people and contributes 4% to agricultural GDP and 1.3% to national GDP. It should be noted that this production is far from serving the eight million inhabitants in the country. Thus, ADTEET is embarking on the expansion of this sector in order to compensate for the trade imbalance observed because of the deficit, and to reduce imports from neighboring countries.

Trade & Local Commerce

Trade represents a great lever for the development of the economy. It encompasses among others the general food trade, shops, businesses, etc.… This during the commercial activity knows a setback due to the lack of access to operating capital and sometimes to poor management of the credit system. ADTEET introduces new micro-lending opportunities for local traders that are more stringent and conditional on compulsory support for training and monitoring. In addition to this, all projects progress are monitored and restructured if necessary.

Entrepreneurship

ADTEET is setting up a training centers in each region to train and educate young people how to take advantage of agriculture, poultry , trade activities to the new level where the can make it an industry. Those that graduate from this trainings centers will benefit from some financial support and assistantship as well as strategies and techniques for business success. With ADTEET, combining theory and practice to achieve higher yield becomes an important mission. The training provided is divided into four groups: 1. General Business Ideas Conception and Business Creation, 2. Business Plans and Business Strategies,

Education & Environmental Protection

An African proverb states: "The future of our planet is in the hands of its youth, and how we teach them influence their understanding." The socio-economical problems as well the recent global pandemic drag many families to poverty; in some developing countries, there is a clear inability by some parents to meet their children basic education needs. There is also the deterioration in the quality of the education provided due to a lack of suitable materials and state support. Moreover, women's education is in decline with devastating consequences. ADTEET will search for help and good wills to support those families with school materials to guarantee a qualitative and equitable education. With this youth, we plan to plant 1000 trees each year to combat global warming.
